Re: Closer, My God, To Thee

In response to a question about evolution versus “intelligent design” during recent televised debates in the GOP primary race, Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee answered, condescendingly, “If anybody wants to believe that they are the descendants of a primate, they are certainly welcome to do it.”

I hope someone has the decency to explain to the ex-governor of Arkansas that humans are primates.
