Richard Bingham finds it discomforting to know that “in the global battle against fanatical theocrats such as the Taliban and al-Qaeda, we are counting on a nation where almost half the respondents to a poll think dinosaurs were on the Ark.” I think he should find it even more discomforting to know that this means at least half of the respondents believe there was an Ark.
